Breckan, a mile out of the village of Dounby, is a spacious, traditional Orkney longhouse with stunning panoramic views and all year round sunsets. It provides a tranquil retreat, the silence broken only by birdsong and the occasional tractor. 6 South End, a former fisherman's cottage on the Stromness waterfront, commands magnificent views over Scapa Flow, the Orphir Hills and the harbour. Many enthralling hours can be spent watching boats and birds from the pier.

Crispin and Charlotte have over thirty years connection with Orkney and they have enjoyed providing holiday accommodation since their move from the North Scottish mainland in 1996. Their affection and enthusiasm for Orkney and it's people is reflected in the warmth of their welcome and in the very individual styles of these self catering cottages, so much in harmony with their surroundings. Supporting local businesses they have created an attractive blend of old and new which, together with the comfort of open fires, draw visitors back, winter and summer, year after year.
